Charles always wanted to farm his 7 generation farm, and lives with his wife Davina and three children Olivia, Hannah and Will as well as his parents Winston and Eveline. He particularly loves the family element of farming and seeing his own children taking an interest in the farm and breeding cows. Like many farmers they increased their herd size and milk yield and also built a new milking parlor whilst purchasing more land. He firmly believes in the importance of good animal welfare and sustainability – never increasing stock numbers unless you can manage it in a sustainable way!
