Michael and Miriam Gunn live on the farm with his parents Kevin and Eileen and their four children Olivia, Kieran, Diarmuid and Aidan. Michael feels he was born to farm and couldn’t see himself doing anything else. The farm has been in the family for four generations and since they increased the herd size they have focused entirely on dairy farming. His father Kevin started milking way back with only 3 shorthorn cows, he never brought in any female blood lines except the occasional bull. All cows in the herd have been bred from the original 3! They have won many awards over the years including being finalists on the Origin Green Farmer Award 2018 and Aurivo Milk Supplier of the year for 2018.
