Kevin and Bernie Downing are the fifth generation farmers to farm in Whitechurch. Kevin was brought up on a dairy farm and grew up with a love of the outdoor life working with animals. He took over the farm from his father in 2004. Their farm manager, Tom Carr, has been working alongside them for 35 years and is very much part of the family farm. Success to Kevin is being able to continuously improve the sustainability of the farm through better breeding and grass production, while also taking better care of the environment.
