The Mason’s are the 4th generation of farmers to farm this land in Tralee, Co Kerry. John and his wife Carol have a son, Niall, and a daughter, Carol. John works together with his son on the farm, Niall moved away from home for 10 years and has recently returned. He credits the move as giving him more appreciation for the land. His knowledge and ability to integrate modern technology into the farm are invaluable. The Masons won the overall Quality Milk Award in Lee Strand in 1989, 2008 and 2016.
